The Division of Nephrology is dedicated to advancing patient care by deepening understanding of disease and developing innovative treatments. We provide educational programs through UVM Larner College of Medicine and clinical research opportunities to complement care at The University of Vermont Medical Center.
Academic Excellence
Faculty in the Division of Nephrology at Larner teach several courses throughout the year to medical students and residents. Educational programs span all levels of the Vermont Integrated Curriculum and courses include Clinical Medicine, Cardiac, Respiratory and Renal Course and Hypertension.

Our Clinical Work
In collaboration with the UVM Health Network, our faculty provide both inpatient and outpatient consultation and are nationally recognized for their expertise in the management of acid-base and electrolyte disorders, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, and acute kidney failure.
