BIO

Dr. Langevin is an Associate Professor in the Division of Hematology & Oncology at the Larner College of Medicine, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Biomedical & Health Sciences in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and Associate Director of Community Outreach & Engagement at the University of Vermont Cancer Center. Prior to joining UVM, he received his PhD in Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in cancer epidemiology and environmental pathology at Brown University. He subsequently spent 10 years on the faculty in the Department of Environmental & Public Health Sciences at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, prior to joining UVM in 2023. His research focuses on identifying factors that contribute to cancer risk and outcomes, as well as identifying and developing non-invasive biomarkers for early detection, diagnosis, and prognostication.
