Conferences and Events

The divisions regularly hold and participate in various conferences, grand rounds, journal clubs, and clinical meetings. Additionally, our department conducts faculty, unit director/associate chair, and clinical unit directors meetings on a regular basis throughout the year.

2025-2026 Academic Year, Fridays 8:00-9:00 A.M. in-person at UVMMC's Davis Auditorium and CVMC's Conference Room 3 and via Teams. Breakfast is provided at both in-person locations.

Faculty Meetings
Body

Meetings of Department of Medicine Faculty are typically held twice per year in June and December, on a Friday from 8:00-9:00 a.m. in Davis Auditorium (in place of regularly scheduled Grand Rounds). Refreshments are served in the Davis Concourse area from 7:30-8:00 a.m. This is a great time to meet with colleagues prior to the meeting.

Clinical Unit Directors Meetings

Meetings of the Clinical Unit Directors are typically held the fourth Monday of each month from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in Fletcher 473 conference room.

Administrative and Financial Support Staff Meetings
Body

Meetings of the Medicine Administrative and Financial Support Staff are held quarterly in Rowell 107 Conference Room from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
