Judy Schaechter, M.D., M.B.A., who will succeed Lewis First, M.D., M.S., as chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and UVM Health and chief of pediatrics at Golisano Children’s Hospital at UVM Health on July 1, joined Dr. First and Brian Colleran of NBC5 to talk about how long the doctors have known each other, her excitement over moving to the region, and how joining the Golisano Children’s Alliance will impact the hospital moving forward for years to come.
