Wilderness Medicine Fellowship

Body

Our fellowship combines emergency medicine with austere environment care. Fellows train in expedition medicine, search & rescue, and disaster response through hands-on field exercises in diverse wilderness settings locally and internationally.

Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship

Body

The Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship provides advanced training in emergency point-of-care ultrasound. Fellows master diagnostic and procedural ultrasound techniques, research methodologies, and teaching skills through clinical rotations and hands-on experience throughout our health network.

Medical Education and Simulation Fellowship

Body

The Medical Education and Simulation Fellowship trains emergency physicians in curriculum development, educational research, and simulation-based learning. Fellows gain expertise in teaching methodologies, assessment strategies, and high-fidelity simulation to advance medical education.

Application Materials

Although we have a rolling application process, we highly encourage all candidates to submit the following materials by no later than MONDAY AUGUST 17, 2026. You should receive an email confirmation upon receipt of your application. If you have questions about the application process, please contact the fellowship director of the program to which you are applying.

  • CV
  • Letter of interest
  • Three professional references from colleagues and/or staff with whom you have worked
  • Two letters of support. If the applicant is currently in residency or fellowship training, one letter should be from the program director.

All of our fellowship interviews are conducted together through coordinated group dates, allowing candidates to explore different facets of the department simultaneously and interact with faculty across sub-specialties. This collaborative approach provides a comprehensive overview of our offerings while fostering departmental cohesion. 

Individual fellowship programs may schedule additional interview dates as needed to accommodate specific requirements or candidate availability. 

All interviews will be virtual. Please contact the fellowship director for opportunities for on-site visits.
