Education

We train students and residents to treat each patient as a learning opportunity. Students apply knowledge and create management plans, while residents use evidence-based medicine, manage cases, and make key decisions, all under direct supervision in a high-acuity setting.

Research

The Emergency Medicine Research Associate Program equips medical students with the education and resources to conduct clinical research in the emergency department. Medical students interested in research can access ongoing EM faculty projects and receive support similar to EM residents.

Clinical Care

Our goal is to train students and residents to deliver excellent care with humility, compassion, and integrity. We rely on nurses, physician assistants, EMTs, and support staff. Trainees receive mentorship to build successful careers and become independent, lifelong learners.
