Larner College of Medicine
The Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit and Brain Imaging Program studies the biological and psychological mechanisms behind changes in cognitive function during development and aging. Using advanced methods, we investigate how brain systems are affected in healthy and diseased states.

Collaboration

We work with the Department of Psychiatry at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, as well as The University of Vermont Medical Center.

Research

We research chronic pain and the effects of treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and medications on brain structure and function, particularly for disorders that have behavioral and cognitive components.

Partner Facilities

We have numerous facilities and resources available to us, including the University of Vermont MRI Center for Biomedical Imaging, the Clinical Research Center, and the Vermont Advanced Computing Core.

The Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit (CNRU) and Brain Imaging Program is program of the Department of Psychiatry at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and University of Vermont Medical Center.
