BIO
Michelle Shepard is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. She provides primary care at the UVM Health Golisano Children's Hospital Pediatric Primary Care Williston site where she trains medical students and residents. She is also faculty at the Vermont Child Health Improvement Program, Perinatal Quality Collaborative Vermont where she leads the Improving Care of Newborns with Substance-Exposure project. She is actively involved in quality improvement research and also in clinical research in the area of adolescent substance use prevention.
