BIO

Dr. Cioffredi is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Inpatient Medicine and the Director of Medical Student Research at the Larner College of Medicine. She is an investigator in the Healthy Brain and Child Development Study as well as the IDeA States Pediatric Clinical Trials Network. Her research examines modifiable childhood exposures that shape physical health, development, and wellbeing. She translates these findings into intervention trials aimed at improving outcomes for children. Beyond research, she is an active mentor of medical students and residents. Through her leadership roles, she aims to shape research training, and opportunities for the next generation of physician-scientists.
