BIO
Jennifer Bamford, MD is an Associate Professor of Family Medicine. She works predominantly at the UVM Urgent Care Center and teaches clinical medicine at both the Urgent Care Center and at Milton Family Medicine. The FM residents have shown their appreciation by awarding her Faculty Preceptor of the year in 2020. In addition to teaching didactics and clinical precepting, she regularly presents at continuing medical education conferences and on Audio Digest. She has obtained a Family Medicine Educator Certificate in teaching POCUS from the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. Her clinical interests include point of care ultrasound, tick-borne illness, acute care, and teaching all levels of learners.
