UVM is pleased to announce a special health insurance open enrollment period for eligible domestic partners from July 25 through August 25. New enrollees who apply and are approved for coverage during this special period will receive coverage effective August 16. Qualifying children and/or dependents of a domestic partner may also be eligible for coverage depending on this criteria. 

To apply for coverage of an eligible domestic partner or qualifying/dependent child, employees must submit a completed attestation form (pdf) no later than August 25, 2022. Please note that domestic partners and qualifying/dependent children may also be added during the regular open enrollment period in the fall, for coverage beginning January 1, 2023.
