Kaitlyn Root (she/her) serves as a CARE Team Outreach Coordinator, where she is dedicated to supporting students through connection, advocacy, and compassion. In her role, she works closely with students, campus partners, and community resources to promote wellbeing, provide support during challenging circumstances, and help build individual networks of support for students to thrive. Outside of work, you’ll find Kaitlyn spending time relaxing with her dog, being outside exploring beautiful Vermont, or taking classes as a member of the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies program here at UVM.
