Center for Teaching and Learning
When teaching plans need to shift quickly, you don’t have to figure it out alone. There are a number of supports available at UVM to help you make adjustments and keep your course running smoothly!

CTL Support and Consultation

Body

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) team are available to support you through changes, whether you need help adjusting your course, thinking through instructional design decisions, or troubleshooting Brightspace.

You can submit a support ticket or request a consultation at any time. Consultations are available in-person or remotely through Microsoft Teams.

Use Only UVM Supported Technologies

Body

When adjusting your course, use UVM-supported tools such as Brightspace and Microsoft Teams. Because these platforms are maintained and supported by the university, help is available if technical issues arise, and they meet university requirements for security, privacy, and accessibility. Instructional technologies supported by the CTL and vetted by ETS are listed on the CTL “Technologies for Teaching” web page.

University Resources (for you and your students)

Body

A range of university resources is available to support both you and your students during times of change. These include academic support services, technology help, and wellbeing resources.

Consider sharing any of these resources directly in Brightspace or through announcements so students can also easily find what they need in one place.
