BIO
Tracy Benedict, PT, DPT, MTC, OCS, graduated from UVM in 2000 with her BSPT and from the University of St. Augustine in 2007 with her DPT. She earned her board certification as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2016. She has treated a wide variety of orthopedic patients locally since graduating. She has a passion for treating individuals with spine pain, running injuries, and chronic pain. She has mentored countless students and new graduates throughout her career. She is currently the Director of Physical Therapy and Preventive Care at The EDGE.
She began teaching in the DPT program at UVM in 2011 and has served as a lab instructor and lead instructor in a wide variety of courses over the years, allowing her to share her passion for learning and physical therapy with the future of the profession. In 2018, she began teaching in the Exercise Science program, presenting health and wellness concepts to undergraduate students and helping prepare them to work with a wide variety of future clients.
