BIO

Dr. Kimberly Krebs is an occupational therapist and a certified lactation counselor with advanced specialty certifications in Ayres Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California as well as feeding and swallowing evaluation and intervention. Prior to joining UVM, she established and managed an occupational therapy department at an interdisciplinary outpatient pediatric clinic in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Krebs has demonstrated innovation in clinic management and small program development with roles in billing and administration, marketing, clinic space and group therapy design, transdisciplinary education, and fieldwork supervision.

Dr. Krebs completed her doctoral residency at an outpatient pediatric mental health facility at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, focused on supporting occupational engagement for children with comorbid mental health diagnoses and developmental disabilities. As part of this emerging practice area experience, Dr. Krebs also performed specialized evaluations and screenings within the Interdisciplinary Feeding Clinic, Early Childhood Assessment Clinic, and School-Age Psychiatric Clinic. Dr. Krebs is passionate about applying a multidimensional view to best support the comprehensive needs of pediatric clients and families, as well as students and mentees.
