BIO

Abilene came to UVM from Michigan, where she worked as a clinical manager in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and inpatient acute rehabilitation. She is currently employed by The University of Vermont Medical Center, where she specializes in rehabilitation and case management. Her area of expertise is neurology including stroke care and prevention, brain injury rehabilitation, and movement disorders. She is also passionate about elder care, and serves on volunteer groups and community forums to assist those with chronic conditions.
