Dr. Nancy Gauvin, clinical assistant professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders, hosts Dr. Jack Pickering, co-director of the Transgender Voice and Communication Program at the College of Saint Rose, in an orientation to UVM's transgender voice therapy group.
Health care providers and members of the transgender community and their families are encouraged to attend.
The event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served.
ABOUT DR. JACK PICKERING
In addition to his role as Co-Director of the Transgender Voice and Communication Program at the College of St. Rose, Jack Pickering, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is a licensed speech-language pathologist and professor of Communication Science and Disorders.

ABOUT DR. NANCY GAUVIN
Dr. Gauvin's specialty experience includes accent modification therapy and cleft and craniofacial anomalies. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist in London, England and served as program instructor and clinical supervisor at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Gauvin has been an invited lead lecturer for Operation Smile in Managua, Nicaragua.
