The University of Vermont’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) celebrated the accomplishments of 239 graduates from the Class of 2025 during a heartfelt commencement ceremony on May 18 at the Champlain Valley Exposition. The event was part of a weekend filled with university-wide festivities honoring the achievements of UVM’s graduating students.

Dean Noma Anderson opened the ceremony with a warm welcome, commending the graduates for their resilience, perseverance, and dedication to advancing health equity. She underscored the value of their hands-on learning through clinical and community placements, as well as their collaborative research with faculty mentors—who collectively secured more than $3.2 million in research funding this year.

Following her remarks, Dean Anderson introduced four graduating students selected to speak on behalf of the Class of 2025. Each shared personal reflections on their academic journeys and the core values that guided them throughout their time at UVM.
