The UVM First Nations’ Scholarship is a donor established scholarship to support UVM undergraduate students who demonstrate interest in impacting communities of Indigenous peoples. This interest could be focused on pursuing work as a future educator, social service leader, health practitioner, or any type of work which centers on the well-being of Indigenous students, families, and communities.
Eligible students must pursue a degree at UVM and may re-apply each year for continued financial support as they complete their degree requirements. Students must remain in good academic standing and maintain appropriate progression toward degree completion to receive the scholarship. The amount of financial aid awarded to a student from all sources in a given year cannot exceed the estimated annual costs of attending.
The UVM First Nations' Scholarship is brought to you by the CESS First Nations' Collective, which helps to make the scholarship available as well as fostering a holistic environment that supports Indigenous students on our UVM campus. If you have questions, please contact Tiffany Tuttle at Tiffany.Tuttle@uvm.edu.
Donors may contribute to this fund by noting on their check or the online giving form that the gift should be designated to the UVM First Nations' Scholarship.
