Dr. Victoria Lee is an Assistant Professor of Education Finance at the University of Vermont. Her research and teaching focus on education finance, the economics of education, and education policy. Her research examines how education policies, particularly school finance policies, shape students’ academic outcomes and long-run economic trajectories, as well as broader community dynamics such as enrollment patterns and school segregation. Her work draws on microeconomic theory and uses large-scale administrative data and quantitative methods to understand the effects of education policies and programs.
Lee received her Ph.D. in Education Policy and Program Evaluation from Harvard University and her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Wellesley College.
