Roman works closely with the Dean's Office, chairs and graduate program coordinators on the administrative aspects of new graduate program initiatives, including marketing and implementation of new/revised graduate programs. Additionally, he plays a key role in outreach and recruitment of new graduate students, oversight of admissions processes, and supervision of the operational aspects of student registration, retention, and progress to graduation.
As a liaison to the Graduate College, Business Office, Office of Student and Academic Affairs, and graduate program administrative staff, Roman facilitates communication and consistent implementation of all related graduate program policies and procedures.
Roman joined UVM in 2004. He has an M.Ed. in Secondary Education, three spectacular children, and has driven a Zamboni.
