Lisa provides expertise in grant proposal development, including writing, review/editing, project management, communication and outreach, setting deadlines/time management, and strategically organizing and composing each component to maximize appeal to reviewers.

Lisa has experience with grants from the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences, Health Resources and Services Administration, American Cancer Society, Administration for Children and Families, and National Center for Special Education Research.

Prior to joining UVM, Lisa worked as an editor (mainly books and medical journals) and aquarist assistant caring for hatchling sea turtles.
