Heidi primarily works with the BSW Program Coordinator, Danielle Jatlow, the Practicum Education Coordinator, Jean Sienkewicz, and Department Chair, Jennifer Putney, on all things related to the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program at UVM.
Her work includes; welcome emails, advising assignments/introductions, updating handbooks, maintaining the "take what you need, leave what you can" food cupboard, managing the list serv, entering the schedule of courses, organizing events (welcome, info sessions, practicum education seminars, portfolio, and graduation), managing the Cohort Readiness Process, helping with reaccreditation, managing outlook calendars and conference room reservations, assisting in faculty searches, purchasing supplies, reconciling expenses, supporting the 11 full-time and 6-8 part-time faculty, and keeping the department welcoming, clean, and comfortable.
