Sonam has experience working at various community organizations such as Champlain Community Services, Northern Counseling and Support Services, and The Howard Center. He has a B.A. in Deaf Education focusing on Cross Cultural Communication and Mediation: Bridging deaf and hearing communities together. His thesis was about “Deaf Education and the Debates of the Systems”. He also holds a Certification of Specialization in Advanced Level in American Sign Language.

Born in Nepal and raised in Nepal, India, and Thailand, Sonam's multi-cultural perspective and commitment toward community-centered human services advances the CESS mission and strengthens our diverse community.
