Internships for every interest area
Students with a minor in Reporting & Documentary Storytelling will often intern at one or more media organizations during their time at UVM. RDS assists in making these connections for students, but encourages you to seek out opportunities using your own connections and passions.
Community News Service
Student interns work with a professional editor to write stories for local community newspapers and statewide media outlets like VT Digger.org. Student work has appeared in dozens of media outlets including The Other Paper, The Hinesburg Record, The Winooski News, the Stowe Reporter, The Rutland Herald, The Burlington Free Press, Vermont Public Radio and many more.
