Program Overview
The University of Vermont is a national leader in the study of the environment. The College of Arts and Sciences offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies (ENVS). ENVS students go both broad and deep. As students in the liberal arts, there are opportunities to sample throughout the curriculum while developing an expertise in environmental studies, through coursework in ecology, history, geography, and political science. Students can choose a concentrated study of courses in a particular interest, pursue a hands on experience, and are encouraged to study abroad.
