BIO

From an early age Todd Pritchard has been engaged with agriculture and food production. Growing up working on a small, diversified farm in northeast Massachusetts taught him the value of hard work, responsibility and in supporting his community. His professional career has included not only working with many Vermont food producers, but with empowering students to enter into the food industry with a strong set of problem-solving skills.

As a Senior Lecturer in the department of Nutrition and Food Sciences his focus is on teaching students the knowledge needed to be successful in the field of nutrition and food sciences as well as advising them through their academic years. Through encouragement and problem solving he works with students to achieve their highest potential.

Dr. Pritchard currently teaches courses ranging from an introductory career exploration course, to food science laboratory courses, to an upper level capstone course on food safety plan development. He is a firm believer that education should be both interactive and fun.
