BIO

I’m an Entomologist that specializes in the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) of arthropod pests. I’m particularly interested in surveillance strategies for early pest detection and biological controls (predators, parasites and pathogens). My research focuses on the development of biopesticides using entomopathogenic fungi and conservation of natural enemies of agricultural pests, especially in greenhouses and high tunnels.  I also specialize in tick ecology and management across a diversity of landscape settings.
