BIO
Aaron Masi graduated with Honors from UVM in 1996 with a BA in Theatre Production as a First Generation student. He is a parent of a UVM student, and he returned to UVM as a staff member in December 2021.
Aaron has spent more than half his life providing service to his community. He committed two and half years to national service as an AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer, working as a community organizer in Burlington’s Old North End, where he now lives with his wife, two children, their dog, Gracie, and their cat, Lavender Bill.
He has been a program director, a teacher, a case manager, a coach, an athletic director, a performing arts director, and a Special Olympics Coordinator during his service career.
Aaron enjoys tabletop and online gaming, watching movies, making theatre, coaching youth sports, and walking/hiking. Aaron strives to be helpful, and he works every day to learn from and love those around him.
