Current Initiatives

The Provost's Office directs or has responsibility for a number of strategic initiatives related to the academic mission of the University. These include initiatives to ensure academic rigor and excellence, recruit and retain a world-class faculty, measure and report on progress toward strategic goals as defined in the President's Strategic Action Plan, set strategic priorities for academic programs, identify focal areas and opportunities for interdisciplinary research, and ensure a culture of excellence that engages and inspires the entire UVM academic community.
