BOARD CHAIR

Robert Russell has developed an expertise in multifamily finance, executing transactions in excess of $6 billion. These have involved debt placement, equity placement, advisory services and share purchases. With over 15 years experience in commerical real estate, Russell's client base includes both some of the largest public and private owners and operators in the United States.

Previously, Russell was the Chief Production Officer at Bulls Capital Partners, LLC, a Fannie Mae licensed DUS seller/servicer. Prior to joining Bulls Capital Partners, Russell served as a Managing Director at Wachovia Securities where his duties included originating and structuring debt/preferred equity transactions in the United States, and establishing Wachovia's lending operations in Canada. He was also a Managing Director at Credit Suisse and a Vice President at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette ("DLJ"). Earlier in his career, he held positions at Nomura Asset Capital Corporation, Rosenman & Colin LLP and LTCB Trust Company. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and a Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
