NAL3C Member Promotions via Partner Networks
Several complementary organizations exist, but none have been formed to serve the needs of L3C’s exclusively.  The National Association of L3C’s will form strategic partnerships with complementary organizations such as those listed below:
  • PRI Makers Network promotes investment opportunities in NAL3C member organizations.
  • Social Enterprise Alliance provides complementary resources and services.  L3C’s are one segment of the diverse social enterprises making up the SEA.  The SEA will promote investment opportunities in NAL3C member organizations. NAL3C members should consider becoming SEA members.
  • The Council on Foundations promotes investment opportunities in NAL3C member organizations.
  • Vermont Community Foundation promotes investment opportunities in NAL3C member organizations.
  • Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund provides early stage funding in and technical assistance to NAL3C member organizations.  Interested in establishing a Vermont PRI Fund to support Vermont L3C’s.
  • Community Capital of Vermont offers financing and other assistance to L3C and other businesses in Vermont that do not yet meet all the requirements for traditional bank financing.  Interested in establishing a Vermont PRI Fund to support Vermont L3C’s.
  • Americans for Community Development was formed to turn the L3C (Low-Profit Limited Liability Company) into a major force in American philanthropy, enabling America's foundations to leverage their resources to better meet their mission of helping communities and the people who live there.  Through its legislative outreach initiative, the ACD gives the L3C organizations a powerful voice on state and federal legislation affecting L3C’s.
