Dissertation, Thesis, and Writing Camps

Join fellow graduate students and Graduate Writing Center consultants for writing, food, and coffee! Registration is required and now open for our 2026 Winter Break Writing Camp, January 8 & 9, 9:30 am - 3 pm, in 302 Howe Library. Scroll down for the registration link.

The Graduate Writing Center's writing camps provide two to four days of distraction-free writing to begin drafting or to complete or make further progress toward a dissertation, thesis, or other substantial writing project. Camps are generally offered three times a year and run from 10am-3 pm. Camps are supported by healthy meals and the option of meeting with a graduate writing consultant. Registration is limited to those who can commit to attending all camp days. Camps are typically held Howe Memorial Library.
