Becoming a Graduate Student Affiliate
Affiliation Process
The affiliation process is simple:
Send an email to wri@uvm.edu with a CC to your academic advisor requesting WRI affiliate status. Please use WRI Student Affiliate request in the subject line of your email.
Very briefly describe your research and indicate how it aligns with the WRI’s mission and ongoing work
Attach (1) a brief biography for your web profile (example here) and (2). professional headshot (or let us know your availability to schedule a time with us for this).
Benefits
Access to WRI workshops, trainings, and seminars
Invitations to participate in networking and professional development events
Use of facilities and resources of Farrell Hall, including shared grad office space, as available.
Engage in collaborative research efforts led by WRI faculty
Responsibilities
Regularly attend WRI seminars and events
Communicate WRI affiliation in websites, emails, publications, and social media
Contribute to hosting visiting scholars, agency staff, policy makers, and supporters
Share your published research with Hannah.fischer@uvm.edu so we can share your work broadly!
