UVM Students Take on Town Meeting Day
- Responding to the national trend of shrinking local newsrooms, students in UVM’s Community News Service program will report on Town Meeting Day in partnership with news outlets across Vermont. Story assignments include Town Meeting Day ballot items, street revitalization projects, the aftermath of a church fire, and local budgets. Students will interview voters at town meetings and polls statewide and file stories on deadline in their UVM newsroom.
