UVM Clubs
All UVM's Student Government Recognized clubs and organizations in one spot! There are a multitude of student volunteer organizations to choose from, from one-time service opportunities to service trips, internships and leadership opportunities - there’s a volunteer opportunity that's the right fit for you.
Alpha Phi Omega (APO)
A co-ed service fraternity chapter based out of the national organization, APO focuses on service and fellowship through one-time and ongoing service projects. In addition to weekly service opportunities, they host a number of 'bonding events' aimed to develop cohesion between its members.
Alternative Spring Break (ASB)
Run completely by students, UVM's Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a spring break program that takes 150 UVM students to communities across the country on volunteer trips during which they are immersed in new communities. Opportunities for involvement exist for both leaders and participants - applications for both go live during the fall semester each academic year.
Service TREK
An intense, small group, 5-night experience involving outdoor adventure, leadership development, and community service - bringing incoming first year students to Vermont just before the start of the fall semester to promote the building of strong bonds among group members and connections to Vermont, Burlington, and beyond.
Volunteers in Action (VIA)
UVM’s Volunteers in Action (VIA) is a student-run, student-designed, and student-funded organization responding to two sets of needs: those of the UVM students, and those of the greater Burlington community. This organization comprises of over 15 individual volunteer programs merged together to create one large student service organization. The groups within this organization address community issues on a variety of topics ranging from food insecurity to youth education and beyond.
