CPT Teeple hails from Jacksonville Florida. He enlisted in the Florida Army National Guard in 2008 as an Infantryman. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2010. He graduated and commissioned from Florida State University in 2015 in the Transportation Corps. CPT Teeple was assigned to 1st Brigade 2nd Infantry division at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. CPT Teeple's list of assignments include Maintenance Control Officer, 1st Squadron 14th Cavalry Regiment; Fuel and Water Platoon Leader in the 296th Brigade Support Battalion (BSB), and Executive Officer in the 23rd Brigade Engineer Battalion (BEB) Forward Support Company (FSC). After completion of the Logistics Captain’s Career Course, he was assigned to 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC) at Camp Henry, South Korea and served as a Support Operations Plans Officer. He was then assigned to the National Training Center (NTC) Fort Irwin, CA and served as a Battalion S4 OIC and the Company Commander of the 2nd Transportation Company.
His military education includes the Basic Leader Course, Basic Officer Leader Course, Logistics Captains Career Course, Combat Lifesaver, Maintenance Management Course, and Technical Transportation of Hazardous Materials Course. He holds a bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of North Florida, a masters degree in Urban Planning from Florida State University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Acquisitions Administration from Central Michigan University.
CPT Teeple’s awards and decorations include Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (1 OLC), Army Achievement Medals (1 OLC), Reserve Forces Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd Device), Reserve Component Overseas Service Ribbon, German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (Gold), and the Air Assault Badge.
