The Green Mountain Battalion, at its heart, is a large family; we all care about the success of one another. The Cadet Battalion Commander this semester, Cadet Ryan Kennedy, has made Wellness the primary goal of the program. Cadet NCOs and officers set high expectations, but provide high amounts of support. There is always a Cadet that can help another in a difficult class or train for the next physical fitness test.
The battalion is overseen by an experienced staff of Cadre, led by Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy Pitaniello. They help facilitate training and Cadet development by offering guidance, support and unique training opportunities. They ensure safety at all training events and place emphasis on risk mitigation and contingency planning. The battalion promotes individual development and academic success, but it is also home to close friendships and fun.
