2019/2020 Review Calendar and Deadlines
The development/review cycle for University policies and operating procedures runs from the start of the fall semester through the end of the spring semester (typically the end of August through the end of May). New and some revised policies and operating procedures are shared with the Policy Review Group* for their review and suggested edits. Responsible Officials are responsible for submitting draft documents to the Office of Compliance and Privacy Services (OCPS) and incorporating comments/edits after the comment period.
OCPS initiates the campus review process following the schedule in the Deadlines for Campus Comment table below. The Office will email the Policy Review Group requesting that they review the policies and/or procedures. The email will specify the individual to whom comments/edits should be submitted and will include a due date.
*The Policy Review Group is comprised of Deans, Directors, Department Heads, Chairs, Union Representatives and leaders of University Governance Groups. For University Policies, Operating Procedures or Guidelines requiring Board review and/or ratification, it also includes the Board Chair or Chairs of Trustee Committees.
