Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship
The PCCM Fellowship admits three fellows annually into a three-year program, emphasizing research in years 2 and 3. The goal is to foster evidence-based practice, scientific understanding, technical skills, and experience in publishing peer-reviewed work.
Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care MedicineUndergraduate research opportunities: UVM undergraduates seeking a volunteer research opportunity should contact individual VLC faculty members for opportunities to work with their group.
Research areas cover pulmonary mechanics, epithelial biology, inflammation, immune responses, lung repair, and more, alongside clinical focuses on asthma, fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, and other lung diseases. Disciplines span pulmonary medicine, bioengineering, microbiology, immunology, and public health.
