Bidirectional Learning for Improved Support and Services (BLISS)

The BLISS Initiative aims to bridge the gap in care for birthing people who use substances by equipping community-based partners with the tools, knowledge, and relationships needed to provide compassionate, coordinated support.

Rooted in the belief that the perinatal time is a critical moment for intervention and transformation, BLISS seeks to foster a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
