BIO

  • Received Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003, studied human skin epithelial differentiation.
  • Postdoctoral research, worked with Dr. Paula Fives-Taylor and Dr. Keith Mintz at UVM, investigating the invasion of the periodontal bacterium Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans into epithelial cells.
  • Worked at UVM Bioinformatics Shared Resource with Dr. Jeff Bond and Dr. Julie Dragon.
  • Joined UVM faculty in 2022.
