About the Program

Body

The Department of Medicine (DOM) Analytic Support Program (formerly the Biostatistics Consultation Program) started in 2016. Our focus is to support UVMHN Department of Medicine initiatives that seek to improve care quality or value across the network. 

Eligibility

Body

If your project falls into one or more of the following categories, you are eligible to apply for Quality Program support:

  • Departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKR) initiative
  • Network department or network divisional quality priority
  • Urgent or emergent patient safety problem
  • Published national quality measure or standard

How to Apply

Body

The DOM faculty member or the faculty mentor of a fellow/resident will complete a complete a brief application.

Application Review and Approval

Body
  • If approved, this form will be forwarded to Bradley Tompkins, Quality Program Analyst.
  • The project team will schedule an initial consult and follow-up meetings, as needed.
  • Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Applicants will be notified of a decision within four weeks of application submission.
  • Supported projects will be expected to result in a peer-reviewed publication.
