Current research encompasses the investigation of the effects of dietary bioactive lipids derived from plant and dairy sources on gut microbiota balance, glucose homeostasis regulation, and aging. Additionally, research includes the treatment of diabetes via a smartphone application or web portal, as well as research focused on glucose measurements in pregnant women.
Our faculty provide mentorship and education to learners across various levels, including high school students, graduate and medical students, as well as residents, fellows, and community physicians.
In collaboration with the UVM Medical Center, we offer consultative and ongoing care for patients in Vermont and upstate New York, delivering current, evidence-based treatment for endocrine disorders.
