BIO
Rony Lahoud, MD is practicing academic cardiologist in the state of Vermont. He completed his internal medicine training at the University of Michigan, and cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology training at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Lahoud is a cardiologist at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor at the Larner College of Medicine at UVM in Burlington, VT.
Dr. Lahoud loves the opportunity of making a positive difference in the community by treating acute and sometimes life-threatening medical problems and then having a long-term relationship with many patients. His goal is that every patient leaves a visit or a procedure room feeling that they’ve had the time to have their concerns addressed and questions answered.
At the University of Vermont Medical Center, he is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee and has served as the director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program. He has also started the structural heart disease fellowship with the inaugural fellow set the graduate in June 2026.
Dr. Lahoud is Board Certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
