Vermont Health officials have confirmed 5 cases of the food-borne illness cyclosporiasis in the Green Mountain State. The illness, linked to recalled lettuce, is caused by a parasite that has sickened thousands of Americans in recent weeks. The recalled lettuce was never distributed in Vermont; experts believe the Vermont cases are linked to travel. New Hampshire has confirmed 69 cases, with 3 hospitalizations.
