In the wake of President Donald Trump’s executive order earlier this month calling for a study on the effects of antidepressants and antipsychotics on children, Steven Schlozman, M.D., associate professor of psychiatry at the Larner College of Medicine and chief of child psychiatry at the University of Vermont Medical Center, was interviewed by Vermont Public’s Vermont Edition about how these medications work and how they are prescribed.
