Yahoo News reported on findings that new blood tests can predict a person’s risk for dementia or memory problems long before symptoms appear, according to a study by University of Vermont scientists.
“Findings from this research provide new knowledge that might allow us to help people avoid Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias as they age,” said Nels Olson, associate professor of pathology and laboratory medicine at the University of Vermont’s Larner College of Medicine.
