This annual event highlights research being conducted by junior faculty, senior faculty, postdoctoral trainees, and graduate students at the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine.

- Monday - Research Laureate Lecture, “Fixing Broken Lungs - A Scientific and Philosophical Journey,” presented by 2024 Research Laureate Dan Weiss, M.D., Ph.D., pulmonologist and Larner professor of medicine.
12:15 p.m., MedEd 200 (Sullivan Classroom) at the Larner College of Medicine / Zoom, with lunch provided for the first 40 in-person attendees. - Tuesday - Grand Opening of the BioLabs Innovation Center at UVM with UVM, Larner College of Medicine, and BioLabs leadership, celebrating this state-of-the-art incubator space that will support early-stage life science startups and drive innovation in Vermont and beyond.
11:30 a.m., 360 South Park Drive, Colchester, VT 05446. RSVP to attend. - Tuesday - Research Poster Session, spotlighting UVM medical and graduate student research, with students available to discuss the exciting details of their work.
3:00–5:30 p.m., Given Courtyard, MedEd Lobby, and Hoehl Gallery. - Wednesday - Research Rally & Reception featuring Larner College of Medicine researchers giving short, TED-Talk style presentations about their inspiring work.
5:00–7:00 p.m., Hoehl Gallery, with refreshments provided for in-person attendees. - Thursday - Research Awards Presentation, honoring research publications in the medical student, graduate student, postdoc, and resident categories; clinical research coordinator, scientific research staff, clinical trials, research mentor, new investigator, and mid-career investigator; and Research Laureate and Junior and Senior Investigator of the Year. Senior Associate Dean for Research Kate Tracy, Ph.D., will deliver her Research Celebration Address following presentation of the awards.
4:30–5:30 p.m., MedEd 200 (Sullivan Classroom); reception 5:30–7:00 p.m., Hoehl Gallery. - Friday - Stetson Lecture, “Leveraging Advanced Computational and Machine Learning Techniques and Experimental Data in Deriving Protein Structure with Implications for Drug Design,” presented by Steffen Lindert, M.Sc., Ph.D., associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry at UCLA.
