Larner Professor of Medicine Jeanne Gosselin, M.D., co-authored an article in the Rheumatologist on how AI is shaping rheumatology education. “As a professional community,” the authors write, “we can delineate the role of AI in rheumatology education so that it enhances—but does not dictate or control—our field. Creating educational materials, gathering a pertinent medical history and making clinical decisions in the face of uncertainty are skills AI may erode if we rely on it too heavily.”
